Located 50 km north of Ketchum, Idaho, The Ranch is a site-sensitive project centered on expanding the home's connection to its landscape.
The centerpiece of the design is a 20x12 pergola, engineered to feel weightless within the setting with its structural components intentionally concealed within the frame. Working in close collaboration with a master welder and fabricator, we designed an in-house, custom manual shade mechanism tailored specifically for the site—creating an invited space designed to promote conversation.
Every detail was conceived to honor the surrounding environment, ensuring the intervention complements the site's natural beauty without disruption.
